What are the Science speed talks?
• Science Speed Talks is a competition in which students orally present their posters in three minutes.
• The Science Speed Talks are organized in partnership with the Swiss School of Public Health (SSPH+).
• The final of the Science Speed Talks will take place at the closing ceremony of the GHF conference on Wednesday, May 29 2024.
• The winner will receive the "Jet d'Or de Genève," a prize of CHF 1,000.

Who can participate?
• A person can take part in the Science Speed Talks if:
o The person has a poster accepted for the Geneva Health Forum (GHF) conference.
o The person has paid the conference registration fee before March 31, 2024.
o The work presented in the poster was done as part of their studies (Master's, PhD..)

How should candidates proceed?
• Before March 31 2024, students send a 3-minute video to the GHF (https://sciencespeedtalks.genevahealthforum.com).
• A jury will select the 4 authors who will take part in the final.
• Announcement of the 4 finalists for the Science Speed Talks will be made on April 10.
• A coach will work with the 4 finalists to improve their presentations.
• The 4 finalists will attend the GHF conference in person.
• GHF participants will vote for the winner.
• A travel grant will be awarded to finalists from low-income countries.

Specification of the video
• The video must be about 3 minutes.
• The video can be in French or in English.
• Video size must be less than 300 megabytes..

• Registration to the conference : Before 31 March 2024
• Upload the video for the Science speed talks : Before 5 April 2024
• Announcement of the 4 finalists for the Science speed talks : 12 April 2024
