Au cours du 20e siècle, la première révolution quantique nous avait offert ordinateurs, smartphones ou GPS. Le 21e siècle sera témoin de nouveaux progrès tout aussi révolutionnaires.
La deuxième révolution quantique est au coeur de cet événement organisé par l’Université de Genève (UNIGE) et le Schaffhausen Institute of Technology (Constructor), en marge de la création d’une nouvelle chaire en communication quantique commune aux deux institutions. Il rassemble les autorités fédérales et cantonales ainsi que des institutions, des scientifiques et des entreprises internationales engagées dans cette nouvelle ère.
Computers, smartphones, GPS: quantum physics has enabled many technological advances in the 20th century. The 21st century will see again spectacular progresses.
This second quantum revolution is at the heart of the event organized by the University of Geneva (UNIGE) and the Schaffausen Institute of Technology (Constructor), which accompanies the signing of a joint partnership between the two institutions in the field of quantum communication and sensing.
Federal and state authorities as well as institutions, scientists and international entrepreneurs involved in this new era will take part of the discussions.
