Abigail E. Disney is an Emmy-winning director and producer, philanthropist and the CEO and president of Fork Films. An active supporter of peacebuilding, she is passionate about advancing women's roles in the public sphere. Abigail’s films and series focus on social issues and spotlight extraordinary people who speak truth to power.

In 2008, she and Gini Reticker made the widely acclaimed documentary Pray the devil back to hellPRAY, which is broadly credited with highlighting the achievements of Leymah Gbowee, who received a Nobel Peace Prize in 2011. In 2009, Abigail created Fork Films, and produced the series Women, War and Peace, Citizen Koch, which attacked the Tea Party, The Invisible War, which denounced sexual abuse in the military, as well as Cameraperson, Oscar winner for Best Documentary. In 2015, she directed The Armor of Light, denouncing the links between the pro-gun lobby and evangelical Christians.

A passionante activist, the granddaughter of Walt Disney Company co-founder Roy O. Disney, she has publicly renounced her share of the family profits from an Israeli firm she claims is exploiting "occupied natural resources". She has also publicly denounced the tax cuts of which she will benefit from in the US as well as the racism and sexism of her great-uncle, Walt Disney.

With other committed women, she recently created Killer Contents, which is rumored to be acquiring the Weinstein Company.
