Translation and Sustainability in the Age of the Anthropocene

À la veille de la Journée mondiale de la traduction, la Faculté de traduction et d’interprétation lance une nouvelle édition de son École doctorale virtuelle (EDV), qui débute par une conférence du Prof. Michael Cronin ayant pour titre : « Translation and Sustainability in the Age of the Anthropocene ». Le Professeur Michael Cronin est membre de la School of Applied Language and Intercultural Studies de la Dublin City University. Il est auteur de plusieurs ouvrages dont Unity in Diversity? Current Trends in Translation Studies (St Jerome, 1998), Translation and Identity (Routledge, 2006) and Translation in the Digital Age (Routledge, 2013). Son dernier ouvrage a pour titre Eco-Translation: Translation and Ecology in the Age of the Anthropocene (Routledge, 2017) ; il ouvre le débat sur le rôle vital que la traduction peut jouer dans la survie de la planète.
